About FastSports

"FastSports - Minnesota Fastpitch" is owned and operated by Vince Muehe. The site is a service to the athletes, coaches and fans in the upper-midwest. While articles may not always be about fastpitch softball, that is the major focus.

The site has been in existince, in one form or another, since 1995. In the first year, twenty-five hits a week was a strong week. As the site has grown, traffic has grown also. See the graph below for a view of number of visitors and page views the site has received by month.

Much of the action photography on the site is done by Vince, but readers are encouraged to send in photos also.

Services that FastSports provides:

• Tournament Listings -- ASA / AFA / NSA / USSSA -- it doesn't matter.
• Tournament Registration Forms
• News and Information
• Editorials
• Photos of teams
• Discussion Area
• Coaching Tips
• Links to sites of interest.

The goal for FastSports has been to offer some services or high quality products for a small fee, but never charge an organization for services that would become a mandatory charge for the athletes or their families because of a charge from FastSports. With that in mind:

• Tournaments are posted for free
• Most non-commercial clinics are posted for free or for a very small charge.
• There is no registration requirement or fee to use any portion of FastSports, except the discussion area -- which requires a registration only (no fee).

If you enjoy FastSports, you can help keep it operational by purchasing products advertised on the site. If you have something on your mind, write an editorial. Submit an action photo or write a coaching tip. These all go toward making FastSports a better resource for players, coaches and fans!
