About the clinic. . .
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to attend the National Softball Coaches Clinic! As many of you know, we conduct National Softball Coaches Clinics across the nation each year. In addition, we have Advanced National Softball Coaches Clinics in Chicago and Charlotte, N.C. Those clinics are for the coach with a strong knowledge of the game who wants to take their game to the next level.
All of our clinics offer the finest instruction available to coaches at all levels and our commitment to our clinics hasn't changed since we began conducting them more than 20 years ago.
Our clinic are held in a relaxed, fun environment that allows the participants to learn from teh very best coaches, players and clinicians in the world. We're proud that our clinics are widely recognized as the very best in the U.S. thanks to the commitment and dedication of our extraordinary instructors.
There will be two days of instruction, softball exhibits, a coaches packet for each participant, door prizes, social hour and more!
Our clinic will provide instruction on how to help their athletes improve their softball skills, knowlege and ability to execute. There will be something for everyone - no matter their coaching knowledge and experience. It's a fantastic way to learn from the best and meet others who share your interest in fastpitch softball. You can network with other coaches and spend some one-on-one time with our instructors during breaks or the Coaches Social Hour.

University of Sioux Falls Softball Winter Clinic Dates Announced
University of Sioux Falls softball head coach Kelsey Thompson announced the dates for the 2014 USF Softball Winter Clinic.
The winter clinics, designed for grades 6-12, will take place on
Saturday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 14. The first session of both days will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The USF Softball staff will hold three sessions on day one, including advanced hitting, advanced pitching, and catching sessions. Day two will feature advanced hitting and advanced pitching sessions. The advanced pitching sessions wil be limited to 20 athletes and each must provide their own catcher.
The camp will be conducted at the USF Sports Complex, located at 69th Street and Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls, or the USF Stewart Center located at 26th Street and Menlo Avenue. More information about the location will be provided to the participants after registration.

2015 Women Coaches Symposium

This year, the 2nd annual WCS will be held in on April 17, 2015 at TCF Bank Stadium's Indoor Club Room. The event is co-sponsored by U of M Gopher Athletics and the Alliance of Women Coaches. Indiana State University. The clinic will focus on team and individual work on drills,
footwork, positioning and tips to help raise your level of defense. Each camper will

2015 S&C Holiday Classic College Showcase
Where: Irish Sports Dome – Rosemount, Minnesota
When: Jaunary 2nd, 2015
Time: 8:00am to 4:00pm

Players Clinic with College Coaches and the College Showcase ($210)
Who: Girls 8th through 12th grade interested in playing college softball
Don’t Miss the oppportunity to show your skills to 35-50 College Coaches that will be
present at the showcase! Players are placed on a team, will play at least three games and
meet other players from all over the midwest! Players will be tested in Bat Speed,
Throwing Speed, Running Speed, 100 Foot Throw, pitching speed and catchers pop time.
Register now, as Showcase may be limited to the first 96 players registered.
College of St. Scholastica Elite Skills Camp
This softball camp will give softball players in grades 7-12 an opportunity to learn advanced softball skills. Coach Walter and her staff will teach many of the drills and skills used by the current team.
The hitting portion of camp will be led by Bethel University head coach Penny Foore. Foore has had numerous coaching experiences at NCAA Division I, high school, and club levels. Most recently she was an assistant at Appalachian State. She was also the founder of the Minnesota Impact Softball, a club program based in the cities.

Minnesota State University Mankato Mavericks' 2014 Elite Prospect Camp
The Elite Prospect Camp will be a total skills camp that will not only cover all aspects of softball but will include a tour of campus, lunch, and a question and answer session with prospects and parents. Each camper will have three 1 hour sessions of skill work.
The sessions offered include:
- Outfield Defense: proper fielding, throwing, catching, and footwork.
- Infield Defense: proper fielding, throwing, catching, and footwork.
- Hitting: stance, trigger, bat control and explosiveness.
- Pitching: leg drive, stride, arm speed and proper spin.
Each pitcher will need to bring their own catcher
- Catching: framing, blocking, footwork, throw downs, bunt retrieval and balls to the plate.
- Baserunning/Conditioning: proper running form, agility, footwork, and rounding bases.
Athletes should select three of the skill sessions above to focus on.
