Registration Information

Diamond Sports Academy is making a special offer to softball teams and organizations to put on a special series of hitting clinics for coaches and players. The series consists of 3 sessions. The first of the 3 clinics is held at our facility in Roseville. It runs between 75 and 90 minutes . We present a short discussion on the three pillars of hitting and how each can be taught to players of different ages. Then we spent the remainder of the time on the first pillar, proper swing mechanics. This discussion at this clinic is geared to coaches, although intersted players are more than welcome to attend.

The second and third clinics are held at your facility/field and are designed to work with players directly while giving the coaches a chance work with the players also applying the swing fundamentals they learned at the first clinic.

At the second clinic, the first thing we do is get some video of each players swing for comparison purposes. We then put the players and coaches through a series of simple drills designed allow the player to see what proper swing mechanics feel like and coaches to better see what proper swing mechanics look like. These drills are designed to the develop the players muscle memory so that the player's natural swing becomes one that is fundamentally sound. To get the maximum benefit from these clinics, each player should be prepared to practice these drills for 30 to 60 miutes each day between the second and third clinics.

At the third clinic, we review the drills and each player's swing with the coachs. This provide feedback and additional instruction for the player, while giving the coaches valuable experiece in spotting flaws in players swings and giving the coaches ideas on how to correct the flaws they see.

Finally, as special bonus, we prepare a special video analysis of each player's swing from before and after the clinic. The analysis comes as an avi video file that can be played on any computer (or we can also pu them onto a dvd for a minimal charge if a player does not have access to a computer). The video analysis includes super slow motion of the player's swing along with our audio comments on the swing and suggestions on how it could be improved.

Each clinic series is limited to 5 coaches and 15 players to ensure personal attention to the team's needs. The total cost of the three clinc series is regualarly $1,200. But we are offerring it for a limited time for only $399. We have only a limited number of these clinics available on a first come/first served basis.
