College of St. Scholastica Elite Skills Camp

This softball camp will give softball players in grades 7-12 an opportunity to learn advanced softball skills. Coach Walter and her staff will teach many of the drills and skills used by the current team.

The hitting portion of camp will be led by Bethel University head coach Penny Foore. Foore has had numerous coaching experiences at NCAA Division I, high school, and club levels. Most recently she was an assistant at Appalachian State. She was also the founder of the Minnesota Impact Softball, a club program based in the cities.

Winona State Softball Hitting and Pitching Academies

Winona State Softball Hitting Academy

Who: Softball Players ages 12-18
When: Sundays, November 2nd , 9th and 16th
Where: Softball Pit/Cage area of Memorial Hall on the WSU Campus
Time: 1:00 – 5:00 pm (One hour sessions starting on the hour)
Cost: $35 per session or $100 for all three


The Winona State Softball coaching staff will be conducting its third annual winter hitting academy this year. Players are welcome to come to just one session, all three sessions, or two of the three sessions as is convenient for the player.

Those who attend the academy will get instruction in the fundamentals of hitting, as well as ideas on how to become a smarter hitter. Each session will include a progression of hitting drills, from simple to more complex, to allow each hitter to see improvement each day and over the course of the academy. Players attending any or all of the sessions should bring their own bat and helmet if they have them. Total numbers of participants will be limited to ensure quality individual instruction.

AGES: Softball Players Ages 12-18
PITCHING DATES: November 2nd and November 9th
TIMES: 12:00-1:30 OR 2:00-3:30
COST: $45 for One Week OR $80 for Both Weeks


LOCATION: Talbot Gymnasium, Memorial Hall on the WSU Campus

The Winona State Coaching Staff and Warrior Pitching Staff will once again conduct a Pitching Academy for two consecutive Sundays in November. Each Sunday we will cover different skills, drills and pitches. We encourage your daughter to bring a catcher if they have one, or have a parent to catch. Instruction will vary depending on age and progress. We will teach a range of drills and techniques beginning with grip, snap, and warm up progression and advancing to instruction and different spins and movement pitches if capable.


Burnsville ISD 191 Pitching / Catching Clinic

WHAT: Pat Feely, head varsity softball coach at BHS is offering pitching and catching clinics to district 191 girls. The clinics will be run by experienced clinicians; Michaela Potts, current BHS pitching coach, and former BHS and University of Iowa catcher Elisha Huse.

WHERE: F190 Gym at Burnsville High School

WHEN: 14 total Saturdays:

  • November 8th, 15th*
  • December 6th, 13th, 20th
  • January 3rd*, 10th*, 17th, 24th, 31st
  • February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th


  • 9:00am-10:00am beginners (8U and 10U pitchers) (10 total players)
  • 10:00am-11:00am (12U pitchers) (10 total players)
  • 11:00am-12:00pm (14U pitchers) (10 total players)
  • 12:00pm-1:00pm (ALL catchers) (20 total players)

*NOTE: November 15th, January 3rd and January 10th clinics will take place in the afternoon.

  • 12:00pm beginners (8U and 10U pitchers)
  • 1:00pm (12U pitchers)
  • 2:00pm (14U pitchers)
  • 3:00pm (ALL catchers)

FORMAT: Small group with individualized instruction.

St Cloud State Softball Clinics - Catching, Defense, and Pitching

Pitching Clinics
November 2, 9, 16 & 23
Instructors: Hillary Johnson, Paula U'Ren and Alexis Munaco and current Huskies pitching staff

Intermediate to Advanced - Session I
$20 per person
8:30 am -- 10:00 am
Pitchers will work on development of additional pitches, change-up, pitch location, and in-game skills

Beginner - Session ll
$15 per person
10:30 am -- 11:30 am
Pitchers will work on development of fastball, changeup, pitch location.

All Skills Clinics -  5th - 12th Graders
Cost: $20 per person for each session
November 2, 9, 16 & 23 - 10:30 am -- 12:00 pm
Covers softball technique, defensive and offensive fundamentals focusing on increasing skill levels in the off-season to prepare for high school season. Participants will be divided up according to skill level.

Minnesota State University Mankato Mavericks' 2014 Elite Prospect Camp

The Elite Prospect Camp will be a total skills camp that will not only cover all aspects of softball but will include a tour of campus, lunch, and a question and answer session with prospects and parents. Each camper will have three 1 hour sessions of skill work.

The sessions offered include:

  1. Outfield Defense: proper fielding, throwing, catching, and footwork.
  2. Infield Defense: proper fielding, throwing, catching, and footwork.
  3. Hitting: stance, trigger, bat control and explosiveness.
  4. Pitching: leg drive, stride, arm speed and proper spin. Each pitcher will need to bring their own catcher
  5. Catching: framing, blocking, footwork, throw downs, bunt retrieval and balls to the plate.
  6. Baserunning/Conditioning: proper running form, agility, footwork, and rounding bases.

Athletes should select three of the skill sessions above to focus on.
