NQ Berths are to: USSSA World Series Qualifier
The 2008 Fort Dodge Classic will be held June 6-8 in Fort Dodge, IA (north
of Des Moines).
Fort Dodge is just 3 hours from the Twin Cities area and is home to the best
Sports Complex in Iowa!
Harlan Rogers Sports Complex is home to the Iowa High School Softball State
Championships and has 12 great fields for play.
New for this year are 3 replica diamonds made to look like Wrigley Field,
Dodger Stadium, & Fenway Park!
This years event will be a USSSA World Series Qualifier for 10-14U.
Format will be 3 pool games on Saturday for out of town teams. Sunday will
feature a 2-sided bracket for each age with champions being crowned on both
sides of the bracket and World Series berths to both sides of the bracket top
2. Berths will be handed down from teams already qualified for the World
Series.
This is an awesome event and we are excited to give the girls a chance to play
on these great fields. Come play on the same fields where the Iowa HS State
Championships are played!
